We recently visited Valle de Guadalupe and had one of the most memorable wine experiences of our lives at Vinos Dubacano, thanks to our amazing guide Martin, who curated every stop with such passion and care. He brought us to this hidden gem — and we’re so glad he did.
At Dubacano, we were warmly welcomed by Iván, the owner’s son, who gave us a one-of-a-kind tasting. What truly stood out was how he introduced us to the wines through a sensory journey with essential oils — helping us identify aromas and flavors in a way we had never experienced before. It wasn’t just a tasting; it was a masterclass.
The Chardonnay aged in oak barrels was absolutely stunning, and the Tempranillo was unlike any we’ve tried — bold, elegant, and beautifully balanced. We’ve tasted wines from Paso Robles, Napa, and Santa Barbara… but this? This was next level. We were genuinely blown away by the quality and complexity of Dubacano’s wines.
My husband, who’s usually the more critical one when it comes to wine, couldn’t stop raving about it. We left feeling inspired, educated, and already planning our next visit.
